PlanGuard’s role
PlanGuard Construction Solutions provides construction, project coordination, documentation support, permitting coordination and related services within its lawful scope and the applicable project agreement. PlanGuard is not represented as an architecture or engineering firm.
Required licensed design services
When a project requires professional architecture or engineering, those services are performed by appropriately licensed professionals within their professional scope. They retain the responsible control or supervision applicable to their work, make the professional design decisions and sign and seal their deliverables when required.
Drafting and document production
Working drawings, field information, plan revisions and document assembly can support professional project delivery. These services are not a substitute for required licensed professional design. Document support on a project requiring professional services must operate within the responsible professional’s established scope, direction and review process.
Collaboration with JMEP Engineering
JMEP Engineering is a separate engineering collaborator. When engaged for a project, its appropriately licensed professionals provide the assigned engineering services under their own responsibility. PlanGuard may provide local coordination, field documentation and production support within the agreed scope. The relationship does not create a new combined architecture or engineering firm.
Design-build delivery
For a design-build engagement, PlanGuard coordinates the design and construction process through the contractual structure defined for that project. Required professional architecture and engineering services remain the responsibility of the appropriately licensed design professionals. The website does not establish a particular contract arrangement for every project.
No stamp-only service or approval guarantee
PlanGuard does not offer a service that merely obtains a professional stamp on otherwise unregulated work. Professional involvement and responsibility must satisfy the requirements applicable to the project. Permits and construction approvals remain subject to the relevant reviewing authorities.
Portfolio boundaries
A PlanGuard project sample is not automatically a JMEP project. Selected drawings or renders do not prove current permit approval, professional issuance or construction completion. The samples are identified by material type and limited to the role and stage described.
